I’m banned from the audio portal for having copyrighted samples in some of my music, and my work is being taken down at random (even songs that don’t have any samples). I don’t have backups for most of my music, so a lot of my work is gone forever. I’ve been here since 2006, but I think this is it unfortunately. Bye everyone.

I've change my username from Zooloo75 to Xorberax.

Some history of the ol' name:

It all started back in middle school around 2006, when I got into an MMORPG called Runescape. I was going to register under the name "Zooloo", but it was taken, and the game suggested I go with "Zooloo75", so I did. That's basically it. From then on out I was just another uninspired, numbered username -- until today.

I present to you an original name (or so I think): 𝓧𝓸𝓻𝓫𝓮𝓻𝓪𝔁

You can follow me on these other platforms as well:

...And to kick all this off, I've uploaded my first music video!

The best music is made when we take the time to listen.

I've been getting a few requests to use my music in videos, and other things lately, so to save us all the trouble: Yes, you can use my music wherever you'd like for non-commercial usage. Just credit me by linking back to my Newgrounds page.

If you want to use my stuff for commercial usages, just shoot me a message, and we'll see if something can be arranged.

If you are using my music for something (like a game, or a video), please post a link to it on this post! Seeing my stuff being used makes me happy inside.

I am working on a new project. To start it off, it's going to be a site where musicians can upload short loops (about a minute in length) along with a gif. This idea sprung up from my beat, "Majestic Deer Crossing." I was just searching for neat little gifs to get inspiration from for a beat, and after finishing the beat, I got the idea to make a little webpage with that gif set as the background and to have the beat play.

Below are a few sample pages (static) to go along with the concept. The final product will be a portal where people can select a beat from a screen of tiles (the tiles represent each beat with the accompanying gif) and be sent to the beat's page.

I make music as a way to vent how I feel at a given moment. I don't make music for fame, for money, or any of that bullshit. I treat it as an art like anything I do. Everything I do has a purpose and I hope that when you listen to what I make, you feel it.

My recent music (Acid Jazz) is inspired by Mark Farina's "Mushroom Jazz" which is a mixture of hip-hop, jazz, and house. I have every volume of Mushroom Jazz burned to disc, and it's all I ever play whenever I'm driving. It's a style that I've found to be unique, and chill. My friends would always say, "Gavin man, you listen to some really chill stuff, that's awesome dude." or they comment on how I always find unique music.

I used to listen and produce electronic music such as Drum and Bass, Dubstep, Trance, House, but something about Acid Jazz or Jazz-Hop just kept me hooked. I guess it's the feeling that I get when I find good old music and give it life again for newer generations to appreciate. It's giving it a new beat, a new rush if you will. I wouldn't call it a remix like with other genres, but a rebirth. It's a genre that definitely needs appreciation.
