Thank you Newgrounds!

This is just a simple display of gratitude for what is still one of the last community-driven sites on the modern internet. There isn’t some large, over-arching, evil corporation running this site, and all of its content is made by and for the community, with a rich history and future constantly evolving. It’s one of the only places where I can freely share my creations with no strings attached, no constant nagging for paying for a subscription, no flood of bots, fake hype/astroturfing, and propaganda. One of the only remnants of the old web where creativity and originality still means something, and the sole purpose of making things is to share experiences with others.

Here’s to what I hope is still a long life ahead for NG.

Stay real and never sell out.

NG is one of the best sites I’ve ever logged onto. In the case for my music, it’s not at all like SoundCloud where promotion bots flood the entire site. This is filled with people who actually care about what you do and will support you. And I really enjoy that about Newgrounds.

Well said :)

hello xerox

NG is one of the last bastions of the Old Internet before social media ruined everything. It's free of the disgusting artificiality that permeates much of the web and life in general nowadays. You can feel real people made stuff here because they had real passion for it.

Here's to that!

The best site!

I just hope the people who run the site chose their successors well. The quickest way to end a good business is allowing corruption in or just selling out

Ya I hope so too.

Agreed.

I've always seen Newgrounds as a place of freedom and a place of very high creativity, and after 25+ years, it's still holding up nicely and going strong.

This is one of the very few places I've seen which has no toxic community and no shitty company / person running it, and that's what I like about NG. It has a very nice community, which are actual people instead of some crappy bots (like soundcloud and youtube).
It's pretty much a save haven for people to upload their stuff.

As mentioned earlier, Newgrounds one of the very last good places on the internet to be a part of, and I really hope NG continues to still exist in the future as the legendary and independent website it is today...
#ngforever

@Retrosamurai That’s gonna be crucial and possibly a little rocky, I hope so too

Agreed :D
